27 Aug. Day by the pool, then a massage and spa.

Rest day today. We sit by the pool, swim, rest. Massage at 1500. Lovely.

24 Aug. Banana pancakes and clear blue skies

Breakfast is banana pancakes with honey and passion fruit.

The sky is clear and it's a beautiful day for a walk

23 Aug. Rest day by the pool

We take a break from pounding the streets in the heat and sit by the pool and read.

23 Aug. Breakfast at Hoi An Historic Hotel.

We're having a rest day today, so we sleep in for a bit, then race to the breakfast table.

I start with a wanton soup, but those words do not do it justice. "Smell the soup " the chef said. I raise my bowl to my nose and catch the scent of coriander, ginger, galangal, spices... It's divine.

Then a couple of banana pancakes to follow. Yum.
