30 Aug. Flight delayed. Banh mi.

We are at Da Nang airport. Our flight is delayed by two hours. Sigh. Oh well, let's check out the cafes and see what's to eat.
Oh look... Banh mi. Yum. Two please.

30 Aug. Leaving Hoi An in the rain.

We've had our usual lazy breakfast, packed our bags and paid the bill.
Now we are waiting for our transfer to Da Nang airport.

29 Aug. Chips and Fish. Gary and Camila.

We have a snooze and a swim and then head back to Chips and Fish for dinner. This was probably the tastiest meal we have had here...
Grilled squid with lemongrass, squid stuffed with mushrooms and pork, and a spicy pork, plus fresh baguettes.
We sit next to a funny couple and talk about stuff. Gary and Camila Hill from Karratha.

29 Aug. Chips and Fish. Metiseko

We are looking for a silk shop but can't find it.... because it's shut today. So, we stop for a fruit juice at 'Chips and Fish'.

Back across the river to Metiseko to look in there.

29 Aug. School's out. Wells.

We head out west to a shoe shop to buy more shoes. It's about 1015 and school is about to come out. All the parents are waiting to collect their kids.

There are still a lot of the old wells scattered about the place.

28 Aug. Dinner at Ca Mai.

We wander around town for a bit and go to one recommended cafe but it was deserted.
We walk since more, then go to check out Ca Mai. We have a lovely dinner of steamed squid, duck curry and rice and pork. It's all very nice.

Ba Le Well is a very old well, and also lends itself to the name of the street.

I'm feeling a bit shaggy in this heat, so I have my hair cut at Ba Le Well Beauty Salon.
